Keep your protein intake high to increase muscle. Protein is probably one of the most important basic components of muscles. If you don't get too much of it, your body is going to have a tough time developing muscular mass. Two thirds of your meals and nibbles should incorporate lean proteins to ensure your body has an ample supply to draw on.

Use visualisation exercises to picture what you have got to do to reach your. Having obscure, undefined goals with no real sense of how to accomplish them is a sure road to failure. Picture yourself sticking to your workout routine and visualise what you may look like in the future. This will keep you incentivized.

For good muscle growth, you should eat correctly both before and after a session. Without the right fuel, you'll slow down the progress you need to make. Some good foods to eat for those pre and after workout meals can be oatmeal, fat free yogurt, egg whites and whole grain wheat toast.
