When was the last time you had a banana? Did you know that if you haven't been eating bananas regularly that you've been missing out on the good stuff? Bananas are full of vitamins and mineral, all of which the body needs. Eating bananas will keep you energized and healthy for the long haul.

One banana has about 105 calories, give or take a couple, and around three of those calories are from fat. They also have 1 gram of protein, three grams of fiber and about fourteen grams of sugar. And how about this, no cholesterol or sodium.

Because of the fat and sugar content, you can't go overboard and eat bananas all day. However, a banana a day never hurt anyone. In fact, you burn fat just processing this funny looking fruit!

Because of the vitamins that this fruit contains like, vitamins B6, C, A, magnesium and potassium, they are what help fight against muscle cramps. They also help regulate blood pressure.

Banana nutrition help to prevent heart diseases and also strengthen your bones. Bananas are an anti-obesity food, since they reduce swelling thanks to B6 and create a whole army of white blood cells for your superior immunity.

One of the best things about bananas is that they make you feel full and they give you a nice spurt of energy. It's a better type of energy, not like that processed junk out there, this is different. They also have fiber which helps with your digestion.

Not to mention you get a caffeine crash or an upset stomach or the jitters. Not with bananas though, because it's nice and even, and there's no crash. This is what mother nature intended.

If you find it difficult to eat bananas or if your having a hard time digesting them, then not to worry. There are other ways of eating bananas.

Instead, why not use their flavor by making a delicious smoothie? Bananas add sweetness to a smoothie drink because of their moderate sugar content. Frozen bananas or bananas and ice may even give your health drink an ice cream like texture.
